Ati Career Training Center Knowledge Base
Is ATI Career Training Center a good school? I don't want to go to college. I just want to learn welding and get out within a year or two. There are no trade schools in texas, I know, I Googled it. The only thing in texas I could find was community colleges, but like I said before I don't want to go to a college, but I will if I have to.
Accounting College In or around Fort Lauderdale Florida? Im still in high school now(10th grade) but when i graduate i will be moving to Plantation FL. I want to become an accountant and go to college for it but im now sure what is a good college and how much they cost. im also not sure what types of accounts there is and what kind makes the most money. i've looked alittle into Ati Career Training Center, how good is that college and how much does it cost?
Can anyone that knows information about Financial Aid and Student Loans help me? I start school tomorrow at ATI Career Training Center. My tuition supposedly is $18,360. Financial Aid gave me $2600. Student Loans gave me $7657. According to ATI's math, $5668 is not covered by Financial Aid and needs to be covered by Plus Loan or cash payments (if you do the math, there is actually $2435 that wasn't included...don't know why). When I asked about the cash payments, they gave me 4 plan options with a note that said "Cash payments are interest free" Plan 1- Pay in full Plan 2- 4 quarterly (every ten weeks) payments of $1414 equally..... 1414x4=5656...not $5668 which is what im suppose to be paying. Plan 3- 10 payments of 566.80......566.80x10=$5668 (what im suppose to pay) Plan 4- 15 in-school payments of $75 and 44 out-of-school payments of $147.91 >Approximately. 15x75=1125 44x147.91=6508.04 6508.04+1125=$7633.04 I would be paying $1965.04 extra if I do Plan 4. Is it me that is not understanding what's going on or is it the lady that is doing all this Financial Aid thing wrong? After I pay $5668, I still need to pay the $7657 for the Student Loan, plus the interest. Not only that, but on their contract, it seems to me like they made an error, It reads "THE PARTIES SHALL BEAR THEI R OWN COST AND EXPENSES" instead of "THE PARTIES SHALL BEAR THEIR OWN COST AND EXPENSES" they made an error on "THEI R OWN"... or am i the one that is wrong? Should I even go to school tomorrow? I have not payed anything at all.. I'm just scared that Student Loans already sent a Loan. They make it seem like they are all professional , everyone is suited up. Girls have all under the knee skirts with their collared shirts tucked in. They have camera's recording everything someone says, they have bluetooth looking phones on their ears. They all speak very professional without a studder or repeating words. I don't know. I turned down a job with an Optician to go to this school and now im thinking twice about it. I will be going for Dental Assistant. The school says to be an Accredited school by the state of Texas. This school has been open for 2 years so their is really no reviews since the classes are small, it is rare to find someone graduated from ATI at the moment.
Particular situation, advice needed.? Alright, I'm going to make this question quick and simple, not too broad, not too specific. I'm a recent grad from high school. I'm thinking about going to ATI Career training center here in miami as an EST. The reason for that is because I'd like a quick job now, as my first job so I could then go to college (which is what I really want). My financial aid has been placed so that I don't pay anything until six months after. The course itself is 14,000. Not to say I'll be paying 14,000 rather a fraction of that, being 6000-8000. My question being, should I go to this school to get a better job? Rather than fast food, or, get a simple part-time crap job while going to a good college? Some of you, (before you even state it) might be thinking, go to a community college! Well thing is, my community college here in Miami, SUCKS! Poor quality to the extreme! not a very good learning environment, so I wanted to go to this local private college accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. So the school is legit, but I need money to save up while I attend the school, which is why I looked back on ATI, thing is, what if when I graduate it doesn't turn out so swell? What if they can't get me a job, or, time passes by and, I don't have their money? I'm not being pessimistic or, positive, I'm being both. In closing, should I attend this vocational school, or go to a crappy part-time job and go to a REAL college? (no not community for the last time lol) . In all seriousness tho, please advise me. Thanks. I contradicted myself, so much for "quick and simple" lol
