When applying for a job at McDonalds, is it best to not include your college degree? I am desperate and I am tired of hanging around the house all day. I want to save money and eventually pay down my debt and start paying off my student loan. I am going to apply for a job at McDonalds because I need something to do. Should I leave off my college degree on the application? I have tried everything. I am competing with people with 15 years of experience and several Master's degrees. Nobody wants my fresh-out-of-college butt.

Why are there general education requirements for college degrees? I am wondering why college students must take so many general education classes. I thought that was what high school was for! This is why my GERs are so easy and I am just breezing through them. I wish that along with my degree requirements I didn't have to take math, science and language classes, just history and social sciences.
