Was it easy to get a job in health care after attending any career colleges in San diego? I am interested in going to a school that offers a Medical Administrative Assistant or Medical Billing and insurance program, If any body has attended any type of career college in the san diego area could you tell me the pros & cons, how much tuition was, and if YOU WERE ABLE TO GET A JOB AFTER YOU FINISHED THE PROGRAM?

What are the best career colleges? I've heard a lot of commercials for ITT Tech, Career Colleges of America, National University, etc and their programs that last like 1 year and earn you a degree in nursing or computer programming or crime scene investigation. Are these programs worth it and if so, which ones? I've heard that some are scams and just cost you lots of money but don't guarantee you a job.

Hi im 19 and am looking for ideas for career colleges or tech schools? I was going to community college for a while. Mostly because my parents wanted me too. School has never been for me. I am an intelligent person. I have and use common sense and generally show more overall brain power then the average. However my teachers and I agree, although I am intelligent It has ultimately led to me rebelling against the school system because I know its just a BS business running backed by the government. Whats the deal with these scammer career colleges? How come the only alternative education programs outside of junior and state colleges are so corrupt?? They don't list the course times, prices, or the length of the program at ALL! They want to be all sly on the phone with you too. They share your number with companies who leave weird sales-messages over and over again. Is there ANY SCHOOLS in southern california that train for medical positions, massage therapy, pharmacy tech etc without being so darn shady??
Are "career colleges" such as Rasmussen, Argosy, Brown, Herzing, Anthem seen in the same light as a top U? Has anyone been sucessful outside of graduating at one of these colleges? They seem like a great deal, with a 12 month two year degree or what not, but when I visit them, they are hole's in the wall in an old storage unit and the informational meeting involves high pressure sales techniques to get you interested. So I'm very skeptical. Please help!

Are private career colleges worth the money? I got my AA at UCF but have moved because I am pregnant. I want a career in law, but many colleges don't have a Pre-Law major. Is there another major I should choose? I'm fairly certain that I will take a major geared towards a career in law when I enter college. The only problem is that many of the schools I want to apply to do not offer Pre-Law programs. I want to know if there is another major that will give me the sufficient background I need that may be offered at these schools in place of Pre-Law.
Are Private Career Colleges OK for short courses? Are these schools ok if I only wanna take short term courses on how to do certain computer programs? (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Photoshop, etc...) Its not like I'm gonna take an entire "degree" or "diploma" because I've heard alot of bad press on them and stories of people spending $10000 but not being worth it... (2-10 pm) These PCCs offer courses during the day while the community colleges offer them only during the night or only if I register with a FULL TIME program that involves them. In terms of career colleges/universities, don't the tuition rates adjust accordingly to transferred credits? Colleges and universities have a standard tution rate and fees (w/o the financial aid, loans, and grants). However, once you transfer your credits from an associate's degree over, isn't the tuiton rate standard supposed to lower accordingly to the number of credits transferred?

Are there any colleges or career academies in Illinois that do not require a High School Diploma or G.E.D. ? I was in a situation where I could not finish high school . I have taken the GED test two times , I passed the basics . It is actually a very hard test , plus there are two Constitution tests .I guarantee you if you where to give this test out to people say 30 years and older , 95% would not pass it .I cannot see anyone using half the useless garbage on there .
