Can Any1 direct me to salary/income info for various Economics masters degrees (dev/mi(/a)cro/i.o./metrix/etc?

I could not find any salary information for various Economics Masters degrees. For example, earnings difference between those with a Masters degree in: Development Economics, Econometrics Industrial Organization International Economics Labor Economics Macroeconomics Microeconomics and Public Finance. I am considering a graduate program in Economics next year. I was researching my options, and I also wanted to check the expected returns on each type of degree. Your help is greatly appreciated!

  1. It would be more helpful to decide exactly what career you would like to pursue and find out which major would best help you secure such a job. princetonreview.com provides a comprehensive list of possible careers and career profiles for many different majors, including salaries for each. i don't think you will find much variance in salary depending on which major you choose, but rather on the level of degree you have attained. in other words, find out exactly what career you want, which major is best suited to it, and get your PhD in that field.... that way you will maximize the salary for a job that you actually want
