Can I go straight to a doctoral program in Psychology without getting the masters degree first?

If so, what are requirements a school may want in order to do so?

  1. Most PhD programs will let you enter with a bachelors degree and earn a masters on the way to the PhD. But you can't just jump into PhD research without doing the masters coursework as well. Look up a few graduate programs to see what the specific requirements are - if not a major in psychology, they'll want some specific coursework.
