Why is a postsecondary education important?

Public Comments

  1. secondary education does not really focus on any one topic. the learner is exposed to many different aspects and that is the whole point. not until college are you subjected to being able to choose what you want to study. you are basically becoming who you are, which defines what exactally it is you want to study. also, in todays job market, a high school diploma might get you a job as a janitor. i mean, dont get me wrong, i know a lot of people htat have excelled in life with only a high school diploma, but, think of the thousands of people graduating every summer and december, ready and willing, competing in the job market. it only gets more competitive. that is what life is, a competition and you as the student must compete, become better than everyone else. education level generally reflects income amounts.. correct me if i am wrong, and i know i very well may be. okay i think i am done.. any Q's email me.
  2. Post-secondary education is important because you learn a lot more than you do in high school. You go into more depth in the subjects you choose to study. Without the basics, you can't get further in life. If you don't get a post-secondary education, chances are you won't have a very good job. If people didn't go to college, there wouldn't be doctors, engineers...etc.
