Out of curiosity, how many of you in R&S have a postsecondary education?
Public Comments

- Bachelor's degree and doctorate...damn, don't you hate us well educted and intelligent atheists.
- I got a secret decoder ring from a box of cracker jacks.
- I not only have a BS, I'm also full of BS. I also did some postgrad work, but I dropped out. Pfft -- Grad school -- that's so 90s. "Not getting a masters" is the new "getting a masters".

- Einstein: it's education that often hinders learning Bible: being puffed up with law knowledge gets you high, but it also hinders you from getting higher than heavens. Bible Translators: it's preposterous order to teach first and learn afterward
- Technically, I guess; I got an Associate's Degree from my time at a community college. Bachelor's this fall coming up.
- I have several (two) post graduate college degrees.
- Why? If this is to use against people, that's not nice. To imply stupidity, BECAUSE of a lack of education or DESPITE one (most likely, a very liberal education), isn't nice. Not saying that's what you're doing, but it DOES seem fishy. What's your point?
- I will soon enough but it does not give me any qualifications to provide better information. I can still correct the all too prevalent bad grammar right? Where did all of the middle-schoolers go? They disappeared at the sight of this question.
- B.A. and an MDiv. I had no idea how useful the latter would be in freaking out the fundies.
- I do. I'm in my second year of college right now. I'm in the library to be exact. I had exams this week too!
- I do.:)
- I do! I do! I've earned a BA and an MS. Sorry, gang, but bible college is post-secondary education like cotton candy is health food. Wow--Pastor Lloyd is on his paranoid pills today, isn't he.
- I do. University and College. And NOT a bible college (which isn't a real school because everything they teach is tainted by religion).
- Not me.... actually i'm in Grade Seven... Mwah... only in grade seven and i can still "corrupt the minds of innocent christians"...
- I have a B.Mus., and I'm finishing an M.A. at Teachers College at Columbia this summer.
- I have a masters (in communication).
- Currently a junior...majoring in Psychology, minoring in Cultural Anthropology...couldn't decide...
- A Bachelor of Science. And half a Masters from before I started to wonder exactly why I would want a qualification in The Biological Basis of Behavior. I also have an ITEC qualification in massage, an NVQ3 in Care, ordination from the Church of the Latter-Day Dude and a certificate stating that I was very brave in the x-ray department at St Thomas' Hospital, London in 1989. I am equally proud of all of them. .
- I do in went to Massage therapy school plus I am a cna so count me in too
- BA (hons) in European Studies. Contemplating taking a Master's in 2009 but time will tell. Diploma's in English and Music as well.
- Bible colleges count as post secondary. FYI, they must take the same courses in history, required courses, etc. as secular colleges. I have one degree from each. Two bachelors, no grad school. Bible college actually gives you very little religion study. To learn Hebrew/Greek you basically have to pay for the whole degree in them. And most teach more sociology/psychology than Bible stuff. Many may only give a handful of courses in OT history, NT history and you get the doctrinal handbook only if you become a preacher in that faith. Getting a degree in theology from a secular school will usually teach you a lot more about religion and even the Bible. My classes from one transferred to the other and vice versa... Debbie
- Raises hand... me, me, me, me, me! I studied English and Political science at Ohio University and King College (Bristol, TN). I studied Civil Engineering at Belmont Technical College (St, Clairsville, OH), and Petroleum Engineering at Marietta College (Mariett, OH). I also have over 200 hours of study in the field of US Individual Income Tax. And not a damn bit of it is helping me find a job... Blessings!
- B.A. and M.A. - in entirely different subjects.
