Moving to Amman, Jordan from the U.S. - Will I be successful at finding at job? Only speaking English.?
I have a Master's Degree in Student Affairs in Postsecondary Education. If I am able to get a job in a college in Amman, does anyone know what I would expect for pay?

- There are lots of openings at schools to teach english for colleges. a quick search finds this http://www.teachabroad.com/listingsp3.cfm/listing/33501 http://www.teachabroad.com/listingsp3.cfm/listing/33480 http://www.teachabroad.com/listingsp3.cfm/listing/9852 Those are just for teaching. This is a complete job listing for jordan with english jobs http://www.learn4good.com/jobs/language/english/list/country/jordan/ i'm not sure of the current wages offerd, but I'd look at www.daveseslcafe.com and www.teachabroad.com and look up jordan. You might be able to find work that way before you get there. It would even pay for your airfare.
- what i know that many people here are having master's degree. but as native english speaker, you may have the priority to teach in German jordanian university, and NYIT. some other collages may need english native. about the payment i think its about 1000-2000 dollars monthly.. maybe more for american.. best luck
