California Coast University?
I can't find anything bad about them. It's an online school, and I was planning to obtain my Bachelors degree in Psychology and then maybe transfer. My question is, will it be respected? Because it's nationally accredited, but they have a big list of employers who accepted it with no problem. Here are their affiliations and also a link to the site. www.calcoast.edu ACICS Transfer Alliance Alliance of Private Postsecondary Approved Institutions American Association for School Personnel Administrators American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions American Council on Education (ACE) Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development California Post Secondary Education Commission (CPEC) California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education Directory (BPPVE) California Private Post Secondary Directory Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)

- "and then maybe transfer." becomes your issue. Nationally accredited college credit doesn't transfer very well at all and won't qualify you for graduate study at regionally accredited colleges. You can check this by calling the graduate admissions office of the college of your choice and asking if a nationally accredited BA qualifies for consideration for graduate admission - it most often does not. While that list of affiliations looks nice - there are two missing that you might need. One is a regional accreditation and the other is American Psychological Association (APA). The first one is really important. Don't fret though - there are other options that are regionally accredited and can get you a grad school admission or transfer later. Among my favorites is UMass.for a BA in Psych. http://continuinged.uml.edu/online/psychology/default.htm Of course, there are plenty of others too. What you really want to find is a reputable college that has a real world presence (like the University of Mass.) that offers their BA in Psych online - psych is common as an online offering. Some regionally accredited options include: Central Michigan Liberty U Penn State SUNY - Empire State Thomas Edison State U Wyoming Upper Iowa Utah State Charter Oak State College Columbia (Mo) Eastern Oregon Excelsior College Kentucky State Limestone Northeastern Northern Arizona Northwestern NYIT Southern New Hampshire U Nevada - Las Vegas U Maryland - University College and more.... check all of your options for the best pick.
