To professionals already in the business world... I am a college student and would like some advice?
I just started college (I am a freshman) and I decided on my plan of study and I wanted to know if anyone already in the job market could inpute their opinion or give some advice. I am planning on doing a double major in Management and Marketing (which would end up being 2 Bachelors in Business Administration Degrees but in 2 different fields of course) I also am planning on doing a minor in religious studies (for personal intrest purposes) My goal in doing this is to try and seperate myself from other people when I graduate. I also plan on getting my MBA soon after. Any input? is this wise? any advice? THANKS :)

- I do not want you to waste your time. Here is my thought on this.. You may major in Management and minor in Marketing or Religious studies---you want to do MBA anyway :) I am 22 years old. I will have my Master's in Public Administration (Human Resource Management) in May. I finished a BA in Political Science in three years. In addition, I have a minor in Geography. I love philosophy; therefore, many of my elective courses are philosophy related :) Anyway, be wise and good luck with your school :)
- If you want to work with one of the really big corps., this is what matters. Masters, how you ranked in your class, how you present yourself, how well you speak in public. Major does not matter as much as the above. Brains are brains are brains Worked with a really big boy for 30yrs and did many interviews at colleges. Make sure the big boys interview at the college you plan to attend, or are attending. If they don't they will never know of your existence.
