4 year degree that will qualify me to enter the doctoral program in physical therapy.?

will education and/or nursing qualify with the prerequisites for example.

  1. Nursing should definitley.
  2. You need your bach. degree in Applied science which will let you get into the physical therapy program. Nursing would be your best bet. Talk the the school though, you might not have to go through the nursing program just to do physical therapy. Most schools have a program for just physical therapy.
  3. Really, you can choose anything you want, but if you choose a program that doesn't incorperate enough of the prerequisites, it will taking you longer. Nursing doesn't typically include enough physics, biology and psychology...but you have to look at each program individually. A collegue of mine who became a nurse first had to take about 2-3 more courses over the course of a year before she could qualify to apply to a PT program
  4. Education? I don't see how. Do you have a guidance counselor? That's their JOB to tell you what to go for to be ready for your next step. OR, you could talk to an advisor at your college. OR you could do a search for physical therapy programs, and read up on what they require for acceptance into their programs, what sort of background and majors they prefer.
