Colorado Technical University

Has anyone used Colorado Technical University?

Known as CTU it's an online 'university' in existence since 1965. I was wondering if anyone has enrolled with them and if they were found to be a satisfactory experience?

1. Dear Bodder, I am a 2007 graduate of CTU Online, with a BS in Criminal Justice. I graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA, and am currently employed in the corrections field. I had a most enjoyable experience with CTU. I found the flexibility of classes and the class work and assignments to be both challenging and rewarding. I was impressed with the adjunct professors, many of whom were either formerly or currently professionals in the subjects they taught. I found my fellow students to be like-minded individuals with a sharp focus on obtaining their college degrees. Many of them, like me, were returning to school after a long lapse, and appreciated the no-nonsense style of teaching and the emphasis on real-world education. If you are one of many who have heard some "bad" things about CTU and online universities in general, rest assured that most of these denigrations are unfounded, and originate with former employees and students who did not apply themselves to their work or studies. Like most things, getting an education at any university depends largely on your personal commitment. If you are serious about completing your associate's or bachelor's degree, you should have no problem with CTU, and I hope that if you do choose CTU your experience will be as rwarding as mine was!
2. I am currently going for my Associates of Science in Information Technology, and it is a great school!
