What college degrees help law enforcement careers?

I am looking into a career of law enforcement and wasn't quite sure what I should major in for college. I am considering military service and understand that it obviously helps, but I am just wondering about the educational side of getting ahead in the whole process.

2. Criminal Justice for most law enforcement Or Pre-Law if you wanted any type of lawyer/judge career
3. I am currently takeing Criminal Justice classes in which preffer to criminology.
