Decent "short training/schooling time" Career Paths?
What are some career paths that earn at least a decent salary that DO NOT require going to a 4 year school, or even taking "core" classes. I'm speaking of careers where you get hands-on training and doesnt take that long to complete. Thanks.

- Careers like that include: plumbing, HVAC, electrician, welding, drafting, radiology tech, medical assistant, diesel mechanic, auto mechanic, aircraft mechanic, etc. You can find short term, career focused, hands-on courses like this at your local community colleges - and they'll have more than I listed here. You can also go to a trade school, but those are *way* more expensive than ccs. For some of the trades, you can sometimes also do the training via the union, but those programs tend to be hard to get into. The cc route is often an easier to get into path.
