What would be a good college near the beach?

Probably a division 3 school for sports and a pretty good academic standard. Like you have to have 3.8 grade average at least and a few extracurricular acivties

1. University of California - San Diego or Santa Barbara
2. UCLA is relatively close to Santa Monica Beach. It has really good academics and is a world-class institution. Check their site for maps and admissions info. Good luck!
3. Chapman college - Orange County CA Salve Regina University - Newport RI Endicotte College - Beverly MA Pepperdine University - Malibu CA
4. Flagler College, St. Augustine Florida Pepperdine University, Malibu California
5. None of those are particularly prestigious, except for UCLA. Pepperdine isn't bad. Schools that are 1 hour or less from the beach: Stanford, UC Berkeley, USC, UCLA, Rice, and Tulane UC Santa Barbara, though, has its own beach.
