What is the difference between these two college degrees (masters)?

I am joining the Army as an officer and wil most likely do an IT position. I can get my masters through an Army coop program which is the ITM degree, or I can do it on myown, which would be MIS. Which is better or are they the same? Management Information Systems Information Technology Management

1. It's hard to say without having more information. Both majors sound identical to eachother, however, I would look at the required classes at the coop and compare them to courses you would take on your own. If they are the same courses, then it would just be up to you on which environment you want to take the courses. I know this won't help you much, but personally I'd do the army coop because you might get to use technology that you can't get in the private sector.
