  1. ALL OVER Vet-USAF Ad; AFSC training is done all over the US, one of mine was Chanute AFB ILL and the other was Ellsworth AFB SD.
  2. depends on your MOS but there is a big base in san antonio I believe its called lackland air force base( or something like that)
  3. Last I checked, and take this with a grain of salt: Security Forces, Civil Engineering: Lackland AFB, TX Comm, admin, ATC, some medical: Keesler AFB, MS Maintenance, medical, Flying training: Sheppard AFB, TX Air Battle Management: Tyndall AFB, FL Intel: Goodfellow AFB, TX Flying Training: Columbus AFB, MS; Randolph AFB TX; Laughlin AFB TX
  4. "depends on your MOS" Don't pay attention to that poseur, the USAF doesn't use "mos" they use AFSC. The training is done at several bases around the USA.
  5. Jim has it mostly correct. Your AFSC training is done at a few bases. If you are communications, that has moved from Keesler AFB, Miss, to Ft Gordon, Ga. Lackland AFB in Texas is the only basic training base we have. Also, as far as career training goes, you will learn more about your job at your first duty assignment, so you could technically say at every base you will receive technical training.
