  1. You don't need any special training, just find an HR position and apply for it.
  2. The other answer here is very silly. You will need some relevant experience -- career, education, etc. Good luck!
  3. IF you want to switch then you need to take some human resource classes. Today when hiring for a hr position we are looking for someone with experience/ a 4 year degree.
  4. As a former HR person, you will need to be able to work with people, resolve issues and bring personality to the table. It would be in your best interest to have some knowledge of HR so that you could move quickly in your field. However, if you don't have training more than likely you will have to start at the bottom. HR is a rewarding field if you like helping people. You didn't say whether you had a degree because that would make getting the job just a little easier even if it is not in HR.
  5. you don't say what your education is?? you might consider completing the HR program at your local JC. I took my certification at a university in HR Management. But I have a degree. Also there are some internet courses ... just depends upon where you are in your life. Good luck!
