I love photography and enjoy going out whenever I can to take some shots of everyday life and events. I’ve always had a keen interest in fashion and always keep up to date with trends as well as forever sourcing new and original looks. I still love designing and making womenswear ,when i can, which I began during my GCSE art, which lead me into participating in and assisting in organising our Schools’ fashion show 2 years in a row. I love to read pretty much anything from “The Telegraph” newspaper and “Vogue” Magazine to political and Hollywood biographies and Shakespearean plays. This mix lead me to be editor of the school magazine in lower sixth and write my own Fashion blog. I also enjoy sports such as squash and ice skating, as well as, swimming and tennis when time and weather permits. I try to go to the gym at least once a week and out for a jog along the beach when I’m at home. I have travelled a lot in recent years to a variety of places including Moscow, St.Petersburg, Corfu, Portugal and my favourite city Paris. From every place I have visited I have learnt something about myself and life. Even though I enjoy travelling immensely, I have recently decided put it aside to save and focus more on my career. Im trying to think of an achievement section but i dont want to repeat myself I'm trying to get a job in retail or well anything till i get some money together for uni next year Help someone lol

  1. It sounds like some sort of corporate training manual. What is 'sourcing', 'personnel information' and 'multi-tasking'. !! It'd create a better image and impression if it was written in plain, simple English without all this horrible business jargon. Trust me, people don't like being 'spoken to' as if they're a meeting. Jargon doesn't make anything sound more official or competent: quite the reverse.
  2. A good transparent and synoptical cv. I wish you the best. Cgtls.
  3. sorry to say this but far too much waffle a good cv is sharp and punchy never more than a page cut your profile down to 3 at most 4 lines interests and activities the same otherwise people lose interest add date of birth driving licence any dependants give reference details on request is not acceptable. your career history covers only two jobs therefore expand on them indicating where you have used your disclosed key skills key point do not use too many adjectives eg you are a quick learner will suffice incredibly is a redundant adjective. remember people who read cvs get bored quickly grab their attention good luck
  4. Your potential employer wants to get the picture at a glance. Condense it a bit. For example, " I enjoy sports such as squash, ice skating, swimming and tennis along with regular gym visits and jogging" cuts out 24 unnecessary words. All the extra words are padding. In the first paragraph there is no need to state twice that you are a quick learner. Try: "I have excellent IT and organisational skills. I can work calmly under pressure which inevitably gets the job done." Correction: "which led me into participating" not " which lead me". Same error "This mix lead me". An achievement section would be fine, but remove actual achievement details from the earlier section and you won't repeat yourself. Interesting CV which will be even better if you reduce the padding especially in Interests and Activities. Give the bare bones, and let the employer ask questions at interview, and you can expand then. Include details of referees (not just available on request). Good luck
  5. Scrap the Personal Profile and the Key Skills Section - the vast majority of the CVs that have those sections up in the rubbish bin un-read. Education goes after the Personal Section - the bit with your name and address, they is no nead to put if you are married or single. References - it is essential to actually put the names and addresses on your CV. If you put 'Available on request', employers will immediately think you are hiding something. Above all keep your CV short - MAXIMUM of 2 pages. As a lot of employers stop reading at the bottom of page 2.
