- Yes you have to get a bachelor then Masters then Doctoral, in that order.
- You will need to start out with a bachelor, and then apply to graduate school upon graduation. Make sure you get good marks, and if you want a PhD you will need a language.
- I don't know it's the same in Australia as the US, but in the US, we have to first get a bachelor's degree (college for 4 years), then we can go on to graduate school (another 4 years or so), and get a master's/ doctoral degree.
- you have to go to college first, and you have to pick the right classes and study REALLY hard for a masters/doctors. when you grow up you'll learn more, trust me
- You need a Bachelors first - either a three year Bachelor PLUS an honours year or a 4 years Bachelor with a research component. The main point is that there needs to be a research project (full year) included in your degree. With some degrees you can only do this if you have recieved a Distinction average over the first 3 years. The research project score is one of the selection criteria to do a research degree (and determines whether you get a scholarship or not). Once you have this you apply to a particular person for a PhD or Masters (PhD is better, Masters is what you do if the supervisor doesnt know if you are good enough for the PhD program as you can easily move form Masters to PhD). If you get accepted, then you start a 3-4 year research project (the money is generally for 3 years so you need to save the money up to finish the project because only 1 in 40 or so finish in 3 years).
