Need a career...?? what programs or training can i do?

Im 23 years old, almost 24, I work for my father (he owns his own business) and no I cant stay there forever, he will be retiring eventually and will sell it and I'd like to find a career for myself. A few years back I tried going to college, but im just not the college type. Im just wondering what kind of programs are out there that i could take or do, kinda like an 8-12 month program, maybe more?.. to be something, but also makes good money? Im clueless, but I need to be doing something for myself because im fathers business wont always be there. Any help would be much appreciated.

1. A program that short will only give you entry level skills which do not pay well. You might want to reconsider college.
