Is becoming a Scrub Tech a good Career? And what colleges in North Texas are best to go to for this career?
Im wanting infromation about becoming a Scrub Tech. I also want information about some schools in the North Texas Area that provide the training for this. Is this an interesting job and exciting?

- Call the community colleges, North Texas State University, SMU, UTD, UTA and ask about whether they have courses related to this.
- If you plan to attend college, just get into nursing.
- Listen to Holly. Tech jobs are pretty much 'assistance' jobs and ain't worth the effort of going to uni at all. It sadden me everytime I see junior college advertise about gettting your tech jobs. Heck, you can go straight to the hospital and ask at the front if they have any volunteer job openings. There should be a listing. Then apply at several hospitals. Once you get yourself a job there, call yourself 'tech' instead of 'volunteer'. It's the same thing. After a while, you got experience as a tech which is pretty much the equivalent to a tech degree in my eye.
