Colorado Technical University

In what states is any degree from ITT Tech accepted? How much money is it to attend per term, roughly?

I intend to take an online course: Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, Marketing Option. Anyone who has completed this course, could you please answer me: how many terms/semesters does this program take/have in total? 'What' is the difference between a term and semester, if any, anyway? Which states accept a degree from ITT Tech? How much money would I end up paying? Per term/semester? After a whole year? After I finish the whole program? They 'will' send me by certification of program completion, won't they? What kind of equipment would I need for this course (example: laptop, capacity in laptop -- hard-drive, hertz, RAM -- hardware, software, etc.)? And lastly, it's understood some interaction between peers is still required for assignment completion? How would that work? I ask so much only because I prefer knowing the pros and cons of things before committing myself to anything. And before giving the school my basic information, such as phone number/e-mail address... Thank you so much in advance. P.S. If it was up to me, 50 points would go to anyone who can answer me these questions! First, thank you for answering my questions at all DEE W and Desert Fox. I guess your answers answer it. ITT Tech is out of my options. I come upon horror stories after horror stories about this school. Oh, well... I guess AWC state college it is. Thanks so much for your input!

  1. A term is a time period it could be a quarter or semester. A semester is half a school year less Summer. It takes four years to complete a Bachelor degree. The instructors are lousy and the text books are printed in India. ITT Tech is not an accredited college meaning the grades are non transferable. If you read the fine print of their ads it says so. It is very over priced like 30-50k a year. I would recommend going to a community college or regular college instead of ITT Tech. Look at other postings on yahoo answers. You can take online classes at a community college that are transferable to any college at a fraction of the cost. Most people in the business world laugh at ITT Tech. In fact they have been investigated by the Feds as well as many states on fraud. DO NO GO THERE IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY!
  2. STAY AWAY. Go to a community college and transfer to a State U.
