1. My guess would be false. I'm guessing "non-traditional" means like online universities? If so, those have definitely increased in recent years.
2. False. Internet degrees, degree mills, accredited programs, non-accredited programs, outright scams have become rampant. However, traditional colleges and universities have also jumped onto the bandwagon and offer some very credible programs leading to a degree, or at least a head start before entering college full time.
