Which Division I school has the best academics???
Just the main 6 (Big 10, ACC, Pac-10, SEC, Big East, Big 12) I meant conference not school. I think ACC is the worst!!! Beside Vanderbilt and GaTech, they have a few nice schools, but they're academics are pretty mediocre!!! I mean SEC (I gotta stop it!!!lol) I think Pac 10 is second because though those schools listed are monsters, the rest pretty much suck, and that's what weighs it down!!! I just did my research on G Tech. I stand corrected!!! Illinois is a good school too. Has one of the top business and engineering programs. Lest not 4get that.

- SEC or ACC
- Pac 10, I mean you got USC, UCLA, Cal, and Stanford.
- Your guess is as good as mine: Big 10: Northwestern ACC: Virginia/Duke/North Carolina/Georgia Tech Pac-10: Stanford SEC: Vanderbilt Big East: South Florida Big 12: Baylor My guess is ACC I retract "your guess is as good as mine". I not only know the difference between a school and a conference, but I know which school is in what conference. Sidebar: Lest you forgot; Georgia Tech, along with Tulane, were original members of the SEC. Bobby Dodd at Tech and Tulane choose to secede in the early to mid '60s and they did so without a shot being fired.
- Just so you know Vandy is SEC and Georgia Tech is ACC,,, so you split the difference in your typo. Pac 10 has the name schools when it comes to academics,,, but the Big 10 has great academics as well Purdue, Penn St, Ohio St, Michigan, Michigan St are all tops academically.
- Northwestern and Vanderbilt would be the best schools by far.
