What should I do to become an expert in International Business?

I'm currently doing a MBA with a concentration in International Business but I think I won't get from it what I need to become an expert in this area. Which topics should I focus then on learning, which books should I be reading, which organizations should I'll be joining? And most importantly, which companies and positions should I be targeting to get a job at?
