I was looking at the degrees some colleges offered and it said Doctoral ( professional Practice)?

What does the professional practice mean?

1. It means a degree such as M.D., D.D.S., Psy.D., or a clinical Ph.D. in psychology, all of which usually lead to a professional practice and not a research career.
