Hello! I'm talking to a friend who's 23 years old, the highest education he has is a high school diploma, I'm currently looking forwards to college but in his case we're talking about his life and working 12 hours at a supermarket is something he wishes he would have thought about before deciding not to continue with his education... When you've worked for years on 7 dollars an hour you eventually do regret things...I want to encourage him to find out about programs that can offer him something that pays better and that may be enjoyed by him. We live in NYC and I was talking to him about career training programs that are short, I don't know if I may be right but I've heard about these programs I just can't recall one in specific, I know there are things out there for Security guard, computers, assistants on different levels, etc. Does anyone know what places here in NY offer training?
