close protection training in england?

i would like to get some close protection training such as advanced driving, firearms, close quarters, counter surveillance and security, not for career purposes but just for interest. I have no background in the armed forces and have never studied any martial arts so if i was to sign up for a course, would i be laughed at?

2. You could probably get everything but the firearms training in the UK. For that, you will likely need to come to the US.
