Postsecondary Education in UK?

I want to study abroad in the UK, specifically Wales or Ireland, when I'm in college, but don't really understand how the whole thing works. I know the classes are a lot more demanding and you have to be more self-motivated than in the states, but how do modules and credits and honours degrees and majors/minors differ from undergrad education over here? Oops! Missed that. I meant Scotland. :]

  1. Ireland is not in the UK. You are asking about 2 different systems. For the UK you need 3-5 AP classes - have you got those?
