How hard is it to play d2/d3 baseball?
I want to play baseball for a division two or division three college in Washington or Oregon in a few years. How hard is it to make their team and get scholarships into their school. What are the athletic/academic requirements and do you know of any good schools in OR/Wa for baseball and academics? Please help!

- It depends on the school, but usually they take very talented players who are just short of D1 quality because of some small reason. Maybe they had academic troubles and that scared off D1 coaches, maybe injury issues, perhaps they don't have particularly polished skills. Many foreign players come into D2, or NAIA schools because they don't have limits on foreign born players. Basically you have to be very good, but not necessarily future pro good.
- Academic requirements will always depend on the school, whether it's D1, D2, D3, or independent. Division 2 is a very competitive division for sure. I would say that most people on Division 2 teams were among the better baseball players on their high school teams. Division 3 is still competitive but the players that play there are the better ones on the team still. But a little less than Division 2. Scholarships are not given to Division 3 players but for Division 2, a player can get scholarships. Just play hard for your high school team and don't worry abotu scholarships until the time comes.
