Nursing- american career college or career colleges of america. LVN or RN?

I live in California, i am interested in attending american career college or career colleges of america to do vocational nurse. Once i am a LVN, maybe in the future i would want to become a RN. Would i be accepted into a RN program quickly because i am already a LVN? Would a community college program accept me into their RN program despite me getting my LVN at a vocational school? Thank you in advance

  1. What's a LVN??? I've been an RN for 14 years, and I've never heard of it. NO ONE HIRES LVNs. ANYWHERE. LPNs (licenced practical nurse) can only work in nursing homes, and the American Nurses Association is trying to put a stop to that too. They want it to be RN or bust. An RN program would make you START OVER and do the whole 2 years, be on their waiting list and everything. Don't waste your time on LVN. If you want nursing, go RN.
