- Associates = 2 year degree Bachelors = 4 year degree OR associates + 2 years Masters = bachelors + 1-3 years (depends on the program) JD (law) = bachelors + 3 years MD (medicine), PharmD (pharmacy), DDS (dental), DVM (vet), etc = bachelors + 4 years PhD (doctorate) = bachelors + masters + 2-6 years depending on the program, the school, your motivation, your project, and your adviser Associates and bachelors students are undergraduate students. Graduate students have a bachelors and are working on a masters or PhD.
- to get those answers why don't u just go to a particular college & talk to an advisor. they might even give u a book to choose ur major.
- -All times depend on major and if you go part-time or full-time 1. Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate.- there are variations according to your major eg..there is not associates in teaching but there is for engineering. There also certification courses and licenses that people get that are essential for their degree -Total time depends on you.I did my bachelor's degree in 2 years total with transfer credits.. -Assoc-"shud be" 2 years -Bachelor's-"shud be 4 years " actual average in US is 7 years -Masters-can be 2 or three depends on major -Doctorate-2-6 years depends on major 2- Undergraduate degree is a bachelor's degree and is not the same as an associates. Depends on what you want to do, an associates can be good pay eg..nursing. But if you want to be a teacher, an associates in arts, would not help you would need a bachelors and a teaching license.
