How does getting a master's degree in a doctoral program work?

"Many colleges and universities offer bachelor's degree programs in marine biology. Fewer offer master's and doctoral programs" Please explain this ^ and can you say what colleges offer this. I really want to go to the university of Miami and major in marine biology is that a good school to go to for my major!

1. If you want to major in marine biology, there is no better place to go to than Miami! They do everything hands on. Instead of sitting in a classroom learning, you will actually be out in the ocean studying. How cool is that? UMiami is also the best school in Florida. They offer great scholarships so definitely apply there. Good luck!
