What does career objective mean what applying to colleges?

I am applying to the University of Cincinnati as a transfer student and on the application under education it says career objective and then a blank line. I have no idea what that means. Can someone please help? Thanks

1. Career Objective would mean what do you hope to achieve after college, as a professional in the work force. After you have your degree, what are your plans. Do you have a specific field you want to go into? Make sure you be specific with what you would like to do and use a well thought out answer.
