What are some career possibilities with a Psychology degree?

I'm thinking about becoming a Psychology major when I go to college, but I want to know what level of education I need in that field to have a stable, long-term career. What can I do with a Bachelor's what more could I do with a Master's and which are only restricted to those with a Doctorate? Or more simply, what about those psychologists who work in schools or big corporations whose clients are the students of that school or the workers in that company? I'm assuming a Master's is enough for that job? Or I could be wrong.. A school counselor as in academic counselor or the one that has 'School Psychologist' on her door?

  1. You'd need a masters degree in psych to be a school counselor, and a PhD to work as a psychologist. You might be interested in industrial psychology.
  2. you can sweep the floor at mcdonalds, so many psychology majors... in my college... I wonder what they will do with their useless degree?
