2. well it depends, some of the "easy" majors, you go to grad school for those, then the joke is on everyone else. communications is very easy. recreation is easy too. al the low paying ones, unless u dont go to grad school, you either work in an irrelevant feild, or go to grad school. I don't agree with Lyndsay Brooke. There are majors out there that put people in debt, and if they cannot get a job after. For example, there was a yahoo question where the user majored in "Behavioral Science" and is 30K in debt, and cannot find a job. Hows that for ignorance, Lyndsay Brooke? There are some majors that are not as well respected/you cannot get a job after, and must pay back thousands in DEBT, and I think that it what the user is referring to as a "joke" -unless Linsday Brooke majored in an "easier" major, and is giving u a biased opinion. PS Lyndsay Brook, what a great run on sentence. I would love to know what you majored in.
3. Anyone who thinks a college degree, no matter what the major, is useless is ignorant.
4. Best advice is to either study something you are interested in (for me, that was Computer Science), or study something that will land you a well paying job (think finance is alright, honestly dont know much about current market). Nothing is a waste of time if it qualifies as one of the two above. Personally I went for the thing I enjoy doing over a good paying job (Computer Science isnt horrible pay, but there are better), but most people I know do the opposite and are stil happy.
