Are Masters Degrees taken in Scottish universities as credible as one taken in England?
I'm just wandering this because some Scottish students can enter University a year earlier than those taking A levels and also because it seems to be compulsory to take both an Honours and a Masters in Scotland, as opposed to it being an option in England. Any help would be much appreciated.

- There are some great Scottish Universities and many Great English ones... there is even a kind of competition between them... the answer is to go for the best in your subject that will accept your grades. Then all you have to do is work out how you are going to pay for it.
- why would they not be? that's like saying one taken in England is not credible as one in America. All education systems are to the same level and about every country does it their own way. One is not a lesser qualification than the other. St Andrews is one of the best university's in the world, think its official rating is in the top 10. Don't think that would be rated so highly if its degrees where not credible. It is not compulsory to take a honours or masters degree in Scotland who iver told you that is talking nonsense, Its optional in Scotland
