Our education system is messed up?

It's pretty dumb that students have to torture themselves with all this work, just for some future career in a retarded corporation. Is this REALLY what you want? Think back to when you were a little girl/boy did you HONESTLY want to be an Accountant? The system and the path it takes to get certain careers are so fucked up. Robs kids of creativity and passion. Kids dont want to be Astronauts and Artists anymore. They all get into college and matriculate into Business mode, Doctor Mode or Lawyer Mode. It's way too predictable. What do you think?

1. Honestly, with no offense intended, there is no true foundation in your content of your query to validate your position. You provide no sources to validate your argument. Define "The system and the path it takes..." That is too vague with no real definition. What do you base your argument upon of how it robs kids of creativity and passion? Provide examples which can be researched and validated. None of of the kids have dealt with in one of my professions over the past few years have matriculated into any of the directions you have stated. They have become creative artists, product evaluation specialists, and so many other avenues of fruitful results from their studies. I do agree that the education system in many areas of the US is sub-standard, yet they still manage to provide the information needed for those who have the desire to seek it out and make their lives what they seek for it to be. American society as a whole does in fact have some influence in a person's life yet at the same time there are those who are visionaries. Those people grab the reigns and determine their own course in life. Go to any search engine and do queries on these statements and there is a plentiful amount of evidence to provide validation.
