Which is the best book to get prepared for the first lecture on International Business?
I am Computer Science graduate. And I am also fresher. I am not much aware about the International Business. I need to get the exposure about the International Business to decide about my career? Is there any Book which falls in general category, but is written about International Business, so that I can grasp easily and have the picture of IB in my mind.

- IB encompasses such a breath of material that until you start it will be difficult to gauge what slant your lecturer will take on the topic. As it is such a broad subject it could be pretty difficult to get a book specifically written on it as a topic. I have two recommendations though: 1) Read some respected financial/business publications every day until the class starts e.g. The Economist, FT, WSJ, Forbes etc.- as these sorts of publications tend to cover all aspects of business and you will get a good idea of current trends from them. 2) For general ideas you could look at the biographies of successful entrepreneurs and/or companies-for example Richard Branson, Warren Buffett, Ryanair etc I could recommend some academic papers but for your first class in this subject real world examples are best and more impressive... Good luck!
