Should I get a certificate in graphic design?

I already have a BA in business administration with a marketing concentration and I've been doing graphics stuff for years. Would a certificate make a difference to an employer? I want to get a job in marketing where I can also do design projects. The certificate course is online and $1500 (Gatlin Education through Cal State).

1. No, instead create an impressive portfolio of your past best work and projects. Showing that you can create nice graphics will impress the employer a lot more than a piece of paper that states the same.
2. I am an employer and in my opinion the more education you can prove the better. There are a couple other schools you might look into for a certificate program.
