Suggestions on different short-term Career Programs?

I was thinking about getting trained in LPN (Licensed practical Nurse) I found a place that trains you in 10 months full time courses. But I would like other suggestions. It would have to be a short program, something no longer than a year.I just can't think of any other jobs/careers that you can go through training in a short time so many suggestions please!
