career in training athletes?

What career should I pursue if i want to train high school, college, or professional athletes. Do I do an athletic trainer career? personal trainer? I would eventually like to work my way up to the professional level for training athletes. I'm not really interested in sports medicine kind of careers. PLZ HELP!!!

1. Sports medicine and athletic trainer would be the same thing.
2. figure out what sport you want to specify in, then figure out were the top high schools are for that sport.. try ur best to get there because college coaches will recruit their and you will be noticed for getting the players in shape
