should i start a trucking career with big company schools?

i have been thinking about starting a trucking career, i see ads all over the place from companies like swift, schneider, etc etc, saying free training, only to go on sites like rippoffreport.com to find many people dissatisfied with many things. comments?

  1. There are schools that teach truck driving courses that aren't affiliated with trucking companies, other than job fairs/career days, etc. However, the schooling isn't free. It should cost around $4000, and by filling out your FAFSA you might collect financial aid. I think federal pell grants offer $4050 a year. They are also federal loan programs that allow you to pay back the money after you graduate, and the payments are close to $50 a month.
